Mulungu, also popularly known as mulungu-ceral, coral-tree, man-cape, penknife, parrot's beak or corticeira, is a plant used in Brazilian folk medicine for a long time as a natural sedative and tranquilizer. There are also reports of its use in the treatment of stress, anxiety and depression.
